The overall objective in setting your pay and bonuses at Legal & General is to ensure that your reward reflects your personal contribution to the business.
Your pay will reflect:
- your level of skills and knowledge
- the complexity of your job
- the impact that your role makes on business results
- the general level of salary for similar roles in other organisations
To ensure that we continue to meet these objectives for each of our employees we will carry out an annual salary review.
Our bonuses are geared to reward individual performance linked to the achievement of specific business objectives. You will have 1:1 meetings with your manager throughout the year to make sure that you have regular feedback on your progress.
We also want our employees to share in the longer-term success of the business and therefore we offer a number of share schemes to encourage employees to own a piece of the Group. Some of the schemes are Inland Revenue approved and therefore receive favourable tax treatment, which further enhances the value of the scheme.
Whatever your role with Legal & General we will try to ensure that your rewards are fairly determined by the contribution you make to the success of the business.
